　　辨析： confine , limit ,restrict

　　confine

　　这些动词均有“限制，限定”之意。

　　limit一般指事先确定空间、时间或数量的极限，一旦超越限度，就会造成不良结果。当然也可指不事先规定，而且自然的或固有的界限。

　　confine侧重施加不可逾越的限制，有时暗示束缚、囚禁。

　　restrict指把某人或物限制在一定范围之内。

　　常用：be confined to 局限于

　　the disease is not just confined to children 这种病不是只发生在儿童身上只能呆在(某处)

　　I was confined to bed for 10 days 我在床上呆了10天

　　confine sth to sth限制，阻止

　　相近constrain 约束，限制

　　be constrained by

　　many women feel constrained by their roles as wife and mother 许多妇女感觉她们受到妻子和母亲的两个方面角色的约束。
